Former Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Federal Bureau of Investigation

Bill Priestap is a Centennial Fellow at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.  He also advises Fortune 100 companies and global investment firms on intelligence, risk management, and nation state threat issues.  Bill retired from the FBI in early 2019, after 21 years with the organization.  From December 2015 through December 2018, he led all aspects of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, including the development and implementation of the agency’s global strategy to counter foreign nations’ intelligence efforts against the United States.  He is an attorney and holds a Master in Business Administration degree.
