Turner will support Strider’s efforts to expand U.S. government partnerships

Washington, DC (February 20, 2026) – Strider Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of strategic intelligence, today announced that Rob Turner, former Chief Security Officer of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has joined the company as Vice President of Government. In this role, Turner will help U.S. local, state, and federal government entities utilize Strider’s strategic intelligence to strengthen resilience and defend against the threats from adversarial nation-states.

Federal, state, and local government entities across the United States navigate persistent state-sponsored threat activity from adversarial nation-states, such as the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Russia, and Iran, seeking to access sensitive data, establish footholds in critical infrastructure, acquire technology and talent, influence decision-making processes, and more. At the same time, these agencies manage evolving mission demands, resource constraints, and complex operational priorities and workflows.

While intelligence community and law enforcement channels provide critical insight, much of that information originates in classified environments, which can introduce procedural and handling requirements that slow decision-making. Strider’s strategic intelligence, which is rooted in open-source data and transformed using advanced AI and proprietary risk methodology, delivers actionable insights to government partners at a speed and scale classified collection and processing workflows often cannot match.

“Government leaders are operating in an environment where mission demands are accelerating and risk signals are evolving in real time,” said Greg Levesque, CEO and Co-Founder of Strider Technologies. “While classified intelligence remains essential, decision-makers also need real-time, actionable insight that can move at the speed of today’s challenges. Rob’s deep experience and leadership at the intersection of national security, governance, and operational risk will help our U.S. government partners utilize Strider’s strategic intelligence informed, confident decisions with speed as they navigate increasingly complex threats.”

“Leaders at every level of government need faster, clearer, and actionable intelligence to keep pace with rapidly evolving threat environment,” Rob Turner said. “Adversarial nation-states are operating at an unprecedented scale to infiltrate government agencies and compromise trusted networks, with the aim of undermining U.S. national security and economic resilience. I’m excited continue serving a national security mission here at Strider as we equip government leaders with the intelligence they need to make real-time decisions with confidence.”

Turner spent more than 22 years with the FBI, most recently serving as Chief Security Officer where he led the Bureau’s global personnel and physical security mission. In that role, Turner oversaw enterprise-wide programs including insider threat detection, threat assessments, background and clearance investigations, risk management and mitigation, and access control for domestic field offices and overseas locations.

Previously, Turner served as Chief of Counterespionage for the FBI, detailed to the CIA, where he led national-level efforts to identify, disrupt, and mitigate foreign intelligence threats in close coordination with Intelligence Community partners. Over 15 years in counterintelligence roles, he was at the forefront of countering state-sponsored intelligence services, including Russian and Chinese operations targeting U.S. government institutions, critical infrastructure, and national security interests. Notably, Turner served as the case agent in the investigation of the Russian “Ghost Stories” illegal operatives network operating in the Washington, DC area.

Turner’s career with the Bureau also included operational leadership roles in violent crime investigations in Maryland and Delaware and supported operations to counter domestic terrorism, contributing to threat response and investigative strategy that addressed ideologically motivated violence.

Turner holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
