Strategic intelligence platform startup Strider Technologies Inc. today unveiled significant upgrades to its artificial intelligence-driven threat intelligence engine, Spark, that are aimed at helping organizations detect and mitigate risks from state-sponsored actors more quickly.

The platform now allows customers to combine Strider’s intelligence with their own internal data to create an AI-powered “outside-in” model that delivers real-time, actionable insights in seconds, reducing investigation times from weeks to minutes.

The upgrades seek to assist industry, government and academic organizations that are vulnerable to ongoing nation-state operations that target and compromise networks, intellectual property, people and supply chains. To counter the risk, Spark delivers detailed threat analysis within seconds to provide organizations with deeper insights into the risk environment through a streamlined interface that includes intuitive, query-based exploration.

Spark now allows organizations to integrate Strider’s risk intelligence with their internal security data to create a model for leveraging open-source data to streamline threat identification and investigations. It leverages Strider’s full suite of products, giving businesses and security teams access to its database to obtain actionable intelligence in real time about the threats facing their organization and slash the time needed for a preliminary investigations.

“More data has been created online in the last three years than in all the internet’s history combined,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Greg Levesque. “This flood of information brings both chaos and opportunity. Data has become a factor of production in the AI era, requiring new approaches to collecting and delivering intelligence. Our new proprietary AI-powered intelligence engine delivers faster insights and deeper context for organizations facing state-sponsored threats.”

Spark rapidly analyzes billions of data points to deliver actionable, context-rich insights that allow organizations to uncover and mitigate state-sponsored threats in real time, according to the company. The aim is to cut through noise and fragmented signals to help security teams identify risks linked to individuals, organizations and technologies with precision.

The service also includes a suite of AI-powered interface features designed for ease of use and efficiency. Users can interact with the platform through natural language search, explore suggested queries, receive threaded responses and input information in multiple languages.
